It is FRIDAY!!! TGIF!! Don’t ask me why I am so happy that it’s Friday. It’s been a week of ups and downs and I am so glad it’s FRIDAY!!
Here are some great cocktail recipes that you can test drive. You might want to invite some close friends to come over and share them in your backyard. Would be a great way to decompress for the weekend, see friends, and yet implementing social distancing.
Los Arango La Reina
Ingredients:
1½ oz. Los Arango Blanco Tequila
4 Dashes Pink Peppercorn Tincture
¼ oz. Sweet Vermouth
2 Drops Rose Water
¾ oz. Dry Rosé
Directions:
Combine all ingredients into a cocktail shaker, add ice and shake well.
Rim a Nick n Nora glass with cracked pink/black peppercorn salt.
Hawthorne and fine strain the cocktail into your prepped glass.
Garnish with a grapefruit twist.
Garnish with a grapefruit twist and salt cracked pink and peppercorn rim.
Los Arango El Verdito
The Ginger Liqueur will give this cocktail some real zip.. and the Green Chartreuse will provide depth.
Ingredients:
1 1⁄2 oz. Los Arango Blanco Tequila
3⁄4 oz. Pineapple Juice
3⁄4 oz. Ginger Liqueur
1 oz. Lime Juice
1⁄4 oz. Agave Nectar
1⁄4 oz. Green Chartreuse
Directions:
Combine ingredients in a shaker with ice.
Shake Vigorously.
Strain the cocktail, garnish with candied ginger and a lime round.
Corralejo Blood Orange Margarita
Ingredients:
2 oz. Corralejo Reposado
2 oz. Blood Orange Juice
Fresh Squeezed
1⁄2 oz. Lime Juice
1⁄2 oz. Agave Nectar
Directions:
Combine ingredients into a shaker filled with ice.
Shake vigorously and strain over ice in a rocks glass.
Garnish with a blood orange wheel. Salt rim.
Seagram’s Sweet Tea Arnold Palmer
This is a very refreshing cocktail!
Ingredients:
2 ounces of Seagram’s Sweet Tea Vodka
4 ounces of Lemonade
Garnish with Mint and Lemons
Directions:
Combine Seagram’s Sweet Tea Vodka and Lemonade over ice in a highball glass.
Stir then garnish with mint and lemon.
Cutwater Spirits Durango Sunrise
This cocktail really adds some spice and heat to this sunrise!
Ingredients:
1.5 oz Cutwater Mezcal
.5 oz Ancho Chili liqueur
1.5 oz fresh orange juice
.75 oz lemon
.5 oz simple
Directions:
Combine ingredients in a shaker with ice.
Shake well and strain into an ice-filled rocks glass.
Serve in a Collins glass with a tajín rim, orange slice garnish
Tanteo Tequila Habanero Mango Margarita
This cocktail resonates with me because I love mangos. Add in the Habenero Tequila and it’s a real winner!
Ingredients:
2 oz. Tanteo Habanero Tequila
1 oz. Mango Purée
1 oz. Fresh Lime Juice
1/4 oz. Agave Nectar
Directions:
Combine ingredients in a shaker with ice.
Shake well and strain into a salt-rimmed, ice-filled rocks glass.
Garnish with a lemon slice
Enjoy your weekend and think about inviting a couple of close friends over OR maybe head to a park and have a picnic complete with these cocktails!
