Cinco de Mayo Cocktails for Everyone!!
It’s that time of year.. May is coming up FAST(!!) and Cinco de Mayo is almost here.
( May 5 is a Thursday!!)
Invite friends for a cocktail party
Whip Up a Pitcher of Cocktails or Mix a Single Cocktail!!
PATRÓN Classic Margarita –
Ingredients:
- 1.5 oz Patrón Silver
- 1 oz Citrónge Orange Liqueur
- .75 oz Fresh lime juice
- .25 oz Simple syrup
- + Lime wedge for garnish
- + Kosher salt (optional)
Method:
- Combine liquid ingredients in a cocktail shaker and shake vigorously with ice to chill.
Strain onto fresh ice in a rocks glass and garnish with a lime wedge.
Optionally, salt half the rim of the glass with kosher salt.
Jalapeño Margarita– Crafted by Manny Hinojosa, Global Brand Ambassador
Ingredients:
1 ½ part Tequila Cazadores Blanco
½ part Premium Triple Sec
½ part Agave Nectar
1 oz. Fresh Lime Juice
1 Slice of Jalapeño
Method: In a cocktail shaker with ice combine all the ingredients,
Shake and serve over the rocks in a glass.
Garnish: with lime, jalapeño slices, and salt optional
Blood Orange Margarita– Crafted by Manny Hinojosa, Global Brand Ambassador, Cazadores
Ingredients:
1 ½ oz. Tequila Cazadores Special Edition
½ oz. Orange Curacao
2 oz. Blood Orange Juice
3/4 oz. Fresh Lime Juice
3/4 oz. Agave Nectar
Manny’s Salt
Method:
Shake all ingredients and serve over ice with Manny’s salt (salt flavored with guajillo and pasilla chili peppers, hibiscus, sugar, and lime).
Grand Margarita
Ingredients:
1 part Grand Marnier® Cordon Rouge
1 part Tequila
.5 part Fresh Lime Juice
Ice cubes
Lime Garnish
Method:
Fill a wide, shallow dish with 2-3 mm of fine salt.
Cut a lime in half at the width and rub around half of the rim of a margarita glass.
Cut a thin, crosswise slice from one of the lime halves for garnish.
Holding glass upside down, dip wet half delicately into the salt.
Shake Grand Marnier, tequila, and lime juice with ice in a cocktail shaker.
Strain into glass and apply lime garnish to the rim.
