Fast Casual Eatery Pachamama Serves Up Vibrant Summer Dishes in Venice!

Chef Vick Vannucci opens her signature eatery on the boardwalk in greater Los Angeles, CA (August 2, 2022) – Chef Vick Vannucci’s fast-casual restaurant Pachamama
is now open on the Venice Beach boardwalk, serving delicious mostly organic dishes inspired by her native Argentina, popular SoCal dishes like tacos and burgers, local
seasonal produce, and the popular Japanese Peruvian cuisine known as Nikkei.

Born and raised in Buenos Aires, Maria Victoria “Vick” Vannucci traveled extensively around Peru, Colombia, Venezuela, Chile, Argentina, Uruguay, Cuba
and Mexico following her culinary education to discover the indigenous ingredients and traditional techniques that make up her masterful menu of empanadas,
tacos, sandwiches, hot beverages, and Aguas Frescas, plus delicious healthy sides like ahi ceviche, fresh fruit with Tajin and lime, and smoky roasted sweet potatoes.

The menu is woven together by Vick’s secret “Mama Sauce,” a proprietary condiment packed with rich umami flavor that transforms each dish into something truly
special.
Pachamama’s cuisine is made from scratch using whole ingredients and a small amount of select animal proteins from purveyors who utilize the highest standards
in humane treatment.

Chef Vick also donates a percentage of all profits to animal welfare services, and partners with Bee Leaf USA to source her “Pacha Honey” that’s small-batched from beekeepers’ productive hives—all in support of the environment’s natural life cycles.

Pachamama is the name of a goddess revered by ancient South American civilizations including Aztec, Inca, Maya, and Olmec cultures, and symbolizes fertility, motherhood, and the renewal of the Earth. Chef Vick chose this name to represent her business  because:

“Pachamama, which means Mother Earth, speaks to my passion for taking care of our planet and passing along a better future to my children. My dishes are here to inspire guests to think deeper about the origin of each ingredient, all while enjoying a memorable meal by the beach,” says Chef and Founder Vick Vannucci. “I hope that Pachamama leaves a legacy not only for my family, but the surrounding communities as well.”

This earth-to-table mission comes to life through design with a fast-casual window for ordering, and tables for guests to relax and enjoy the bustling atmosphere of the boardwalk across from the iconic Venice Beach skate park. The space also features a colorful floral “selfie wall” that encourages guests to capture and share their dining experience.

Chef Vick’s passion for bringing the diverse flavors of South and Central American cuisine to Southern California follows her careers as a #1 Argentina-ranked tennis champion,
TV personality, and model. As a former elite athlete, Vick knows the importance of quality food as fuel. She opened the original Pachamama in San Diego having moved to the United States to learn about organic farming and food production and relocated her brand to the Los Angeles area during the pandemic.

Vick also recognizes the importance of ecosystem restoration, having weathered significant controversy in her earlier years when photos surfaced of her next to hunted
safari animals—an experience that contributed to her reevaluation of her values and mission in life.

Today, she focuses on bringing visitors to the famed Venice boardwalk with delicious, top-quality cuisine made with healthy, ethically sourced
ingredients and raising funds and awareness for environmental causes and animal rights—making Pachamama the perfect stop on a tour of this
vibrant, historic Los Angeles neighborhood.
