Cindy Crawford
Colour: It is a beautiful colour – I just don’t think it is such a great choice for the Grammy Awards unless you accessorise and style it with more attitude.
Shape: The shape works for her body and she has the legs for this outfit. I am just not sure if this shape in this colour is too nice, sweet and neat for such an event. Plus I believe she is not wearing a bra and if she does it is not a very good one, because it seems like that her ” breasts” are hanging in there, which is not only very flattering but also they get a bit too close to the Empire waistline of her dress.
Style: I like the shoes which give a bit of personality to the dress, but her necklace and earrings are not enough standing out, which you must do if you go for such a dress in such a colour. You ‘ve got to work the dress!
Overall Rating: 3*** Three Stars
Cindy Lauper
Colour: The colour combination works for he because she is intensifying her look and make up.
Shape: It is very good dress for her straighter body, because the layer gives her the illusion of a waist and makes her body rounder. The cap sleeve line complements the rounder shape on top and the Empire line gives her a nice décolleté
Style: Here is the spirit for the Grammy’s- love the edgy touch with the gloves, which go very well with whole gothic theme dress she is wearing. Though I like the red lips I am not sure about the rest of the make up…she looks too spookywith the thin eyebrow and little eyeshadow …almost if she is related to the Adams Family.
Overall Rating: 4***** (for the spirit of the Grammy’s) Four Stars
Dita von Teese
Colour: White works for her in this 40ish style look- it is just why would you wear white to an evening event like the Grammy’s? except if you are very young. I am aware it is very in fashion now, but this style of dress in white….it looks more appropriate for an day event in town or going to a cocktail party at friend’s country estate
Shape: She always knows which shapes work for her body and how to make a shape for her body. She is balancing the drama and detail around her shoulders very well with the mermaid knee high trim, which gives her a beautiful shilouette and waist.
Style: The style of her dress complements her signature hairstyle and red lipstick.
Overall Rating: 4**** Four Stars
