12 Drinks of Christmas Day #3 .. The Day Before the Big Day: Christmas!!
While I was noodling around trying to figure out what to suggest that you might have to drink or invest in some high end liquor.. Thrillist.com came out with this cool video online about the $100 Margarita.
WHY would a margarita cost that much? Part of it is the labor but you can sub a chef making lime sorbet for buying the lime sorbet. The liquor is premium aged tequilas and other spirits.

Hydro-Fracking: What Is It? Who’s Doing It? Is It Safe for Human, Animal, Water & the Land?
Hydro-Fracking — ever heard the term? I hadn’t til I was in upstate NY this last year and asked about it. This isn’t an easy subject and it’s certainly not a pretty or fluffly topic to hear about but it’s one that could affect you, your family, the house you live in, the water and food you drink and eat and the animals that are part of your live– even the very air you breathe.
I have a commentary from someone who lives in an area where corporate America is trying to start “fracking” and also 2 videos that give you more information about what its PLUS a link to one that show how quickly fracking can affect you (in as little as a week, there could be serious health repercussions).
While we need alternative energy sources, we need SAFE alternative energy sources– not ones that put everyone around the area at risk for toxic pollution via air, earth and ground water.

Kim Kardashian Goes to Minnesota: Is It Regret or Moderating Negative Press?
By the time this post hits, it will be ammended a couple of times as this event plays out but still there’s a lot to be said for what Kim Kardashian is– or isn’t doing? Is this trip to Minnesota to see her soon-to-be ex-husband Kris Humphries merely crisis management and damage control?

The Reality of It All: Abe Gurko Comments on “What’s Behind Kim Divorce”
Abe Gurko had a great commentary on what’s going on behind Kim Kardashian’s divorce. Truly he takes a big shot at the reality series and all things Kardashian. It’s about how this divorce might be turned around and monetized. The free publicity isn’t hurting at all. While Kim’s mom Kris claims that they didn’t make cent off the wedding, they sure had help paying for a nearly 2 million dollar wedding. I guess you could say that the Kardashians are helping to support the economy but I think the reality show versus the reality of life may have tweaked their brains and how it coincides with the reality of everyone else. It’s one thing to be Kate Middleton who waited 9 years to get married to Prince William and the resulting paparazzi blitz will always be there. At least Kate tries to have a real life . Can’t imagine that Kim Kardashian even tries to do that with flying in their private planes.

Maybe she is a born model or a celebrity with an assistant, personalized food delivery and a personal trainer, makeup artist, clothing stylist and hair stylist along withan unlimited credit card… or maybe it’s Adobe’ which means Photoshop.
