I met Color Director Estelle Baumhauer, Color Director and Marketing Director, Tass Gunthelaka got an amazing tour of the place and a good sense that YES there are seriously great colorists manning the phones. What I would tell you is that it's critical to have a current COLOR photo of you and your hair in good light. I would tell you be honest about the amount of gray coverage you need and be prepared for them to call you to ask questions. This is perfect for anyone wishing to change their hair color "just because"! It's also perfect for doing root touch-ups as well as overall hair color due to fadiing. They do have shampoos and conditioners and special color-enhancing shampoos to keep your color true and not brassy. Here's one item you really need to buy -- and you will only buy it once: the application kit complete with timer!! It'w worth every penny and you will find life simpler when you use it.
