New Years Day: Disneyland Gets Pirate-Crazy! Photo Essay Part 2
If you thought I had a lot of photos yesterday, there’s a lot more today from New Years Day trip through Disneyland. We got there so early that we were able to see a lot – and could have eaten at the Blue Bayou for a brunch that would have been well worth the $$$ and with great table service.. but alas.. we had already eaten around the corner at the Riverbelle Terrace– where they were serving up mouse shaped pancakes eyes, nose and mouth filled in with chocolate chips, cherries and raisins. (lots of sugar rush out of that one!) Have to say that compared to some of the food in the park, the pancakes are pretty good- just don’t give me a mouse on my plate.

We all pretty much grew up with the Disney image of a handsome prince or some version of him, coming along and sweeping us off our feet or marrying us and we would live happily every after in a castle.
Ever wonder what happens after that “dream” comes true? Disney doesn’t deal in the reality of those things unfortunately and we think happily ever after is HAPPILY ever after. Guess what!! WRONG!! Life enters and reality comes round.
