Taylor Swift Hits Bliss UK Cover Wearing Glam Untitled 11:11

Singer Taylor Swift shows off her fashionista side on the September cover of BLISS UK magazine!!

I love the Untitled 11:11 dress that's made of the most unusual fabric! The designers Laurel and David created a fusion of European high fashion with American sensibility by making Untitled 11:11 a completely sustainable design house based in New York. They are using sustainable and natural fibers such as hemp, bamboo and silk, they exclusively employ fair trade fabrics, low-impact dyes and printing methods. Here's the important part of this post.

In the dress that Swift is wearing (seen below in full -length, the RITA features a striped bustier gown made of Khadi -- a fabric originated and made in India about 5000 BC.
The fabric has special significance for the Indian people as it is used to manufacture the Indian national flag. It is eco-friendly, sustainable and helps small business owners who are weavers. It reduces the carbon footprint by 28% even when factoring in the shipping cost. The stripe, mustard, and ivory fabric (all with a sheen) used in the FW09 collection is also made in a similar manner. The mustard and stripe fabric were dyed using traditional methods in India, close to the village where the fabric is woven.

Adore the great necklace which also has a relationship with Untitled 11:11. For the Fall/Winter 2009 season, Designers Laurel Anderson and David Peck collaborated with Too Precious to Wear's Coral Reinterpreted Jewelry collection, whose jewelry is made to be auctioned off to fund the project.
The Tiffany Foundation underwrites the collection and designers such as Frank Gehry and Pamola Picasso create many of the pieces. Untitled 11:11 has also partnered with M. Graves Jewelry designed by Megan Merrin, whose pieces reuse found objects like vintage doll parts and other charms. What's what in this photo-- don't have all the answers but before you drive yourself crazy trying to find it, you have some details.

Fashion can be pretty, fun, flirty and still have a serious impact on the world.
