Bacardi Brings New Cocktails Just in Time for Easter !

Easter is a typical family celebration-- typically focused on the kids having sweet things-- primarily chocolate and sweet candies like peeps and jelly beans. What about adults? Don't we deserve something interesting and fun too?

Bacardi comes to the rescue with a couple of new drinks

BACARDI® Dragon Berry -- the newest addition to BACARDI Flavored Rums portfolio. It offers the refreshing, taste of strawberry, infused with exotic dragon fruit. BACARDI is the first brand to introduce dragon fruit to the spirits category.

BACARDI Dragon Berry has a versatile taste that can create any cocktail using such mixers as ginger ale, lemonade and lemon-lime beverages. In addition, BACARDI Dragon Berry can be enjoyed in a wide range of specialty cocktails that include: Dragon Daiquiri Martini a sizzling drink that creates a dynamic mix with Pomegranate Syrup; and Dragon Berry Lemonade which combines fresh squeezed lemon juice, cranberry juice and simple syrup, just to name a few.

BACARDI® DRAGON DAIQUIRI MARTINI

1 part BACARDI® Dragon Berry
½ part Pomegranate Syrup
1 part Fresh Lime Juice
1 part Simple Syrup

Combine all ingredients into a mixing glass filled with ice. Shake for 10 seconds and strain into a martini glass with a sugar rim. Garnish with a lime wedge.

BACARDI® Dulce de Leche

This is a perfect drink for Easter brunch since it's got chocolate and a bit of milk (any rationale to start early on Easter ok by me).

1 oz. BACARDI® Superior Rum
½ oz. Dark Godiva Liqueur (or any other dark chocolate liqueur)
½ oz. Sweetened Condensed Milk

Directions: Shake very well in a cocktail shaker with ice and strain into a chilled cocktail glass.

Garnish: pinch of ground cinnamon and shaved chocolate.

You have your choice of either the chocolate cocktail or the fruity, citrusy daiquiri.. both are excellent choices. Just would set you up nicely for a family event!!
