" Color Guru" Jill Kirsh Hits KTLA 5 for a Third Segment!

The Color Guru is back on KTLA and this is the last of the 3 segments Jill Kirsh, Jill Kirsh Color did a couple weeks ago.

The amazing part of this entire process as the reporter on the scene, Allie MacKay, has adjusted her "basic black" with a scarf and change of make-up and her hair and face do look brighter.

The question becomes why is Kirsh wearing black: because she doesn't want the colors she is wearing to interfere with the color reflection on a client. It's what she did with me and what she does with everyone who sees here.

Segment 3 of KTLA5 Color Guru - Jill Kirsh

Some of the most amazing work Jill does is with men-- because most men don't have a lot of color or fashion sense. Those that do, kudos to you. (Can we clone your fashion genes please?) But most men have problems and Kirsh finds men the most receptive and the most proactive about ditching their unflattering clothing and going for new stuff.

For women's it's harder because it's both clothing and makeup. You have a batch of clothing that you need to cull through and be ruthless in clearing out that closet. The cost of the item is meaningless if it makes you look fat, old or tired. If the tee you bought from H&M or Target is the right shade, the tee could be worth hundreds to you.

If you are based in So. California, Jill Kirsh can come to your home. Contact her through her website @ www.jillkirsch.com and she will revolutionize what you wear and how you look.

For those not in the So. California area, you can go to the www.jillkirsh.com website and figure out which color group you are based on your current hair color ( not what it used to be) , and then you can order swatches and even buy an "all in one" makeup kit that gives you everything you need to look fabulous. No more searching around for cosmetics, It's pretty much a done deal with Jill's exceptional quality of products. Her brown mascara makes my eyes look a lot better.

Me? I have switched out a chunk of my wardrobe and figured out how to wear key pieces that aren't in my palette by wearing a scarf at the neck or in my hair or wearing tank underneath a shirt with an open collar to allow the colors to become complimentary rather than monochromatic. Virtually everything I have cleared out has been donated to friends and charities. The things I have bought, have all been on sale, nothing has been at full price which is really odd because it's all spring and even last fall clothing.
Go figure. I found great tees that looked fabulous on me at Target and I bought two of them.
