If you have hit Washington DC and need some escape time from the crazy fun and insanity of at least 2-3 million people packed into a small area like DC, you might find that Tyson's Corner might offer some respite from the the crowds and noise. Sounds oxymoronic doesn't it-- but the malls will not be packed with people and you can find something unique beyond the Obama tees, cups, and hats (see other posts) for a souvenir that would be useful.

Amongst the chain stores and the assortment of stores one normally finds in malls is this uniquely cunning store called Art With Flowers. Sweet but distinctly different, there's enough of a range beyond flowers where you could find something different to purchase everytime you visit.

Itr's presentation goes far beyond art, and flowers and it's almost cunning in its' assortment of products- eclectically chic and fun.

Preppycrat has an entire post on this store and if you have the time-- and just want to decompress-- this is the place to visit.

You will be so relaxed after being there-- and you are still in a mall.
