Emma Watson Sparkles with Chopard and a Great Hair Style Courtesy of Rod Cutler!

Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2 debuts today for most of us here in the US. (Some got to see it last night).
Emma Watson already had the first of her big premieres in London and here’s some scoop on her look for the evening– particularly the after-party!!

Actress Emma Watson looked stunning in Chopard’’s Diamond Cluster Earrings (16 carats) delicately set in 18kt white gold.

I love the new longer look to Emma’s hair. Here’s the beauty breakdown.

Emma’s look is evolving from the highly celebrated pixie to a longer length. I created a classic graduated bob reminiscent of the Louise Brooks era, but with modernized layers on the interior and soft, sweepy bangs.

Enriching the look with a rich golden brown and soft honey pieces enhances the texture of the hair cut and compliments her skin tone and eye color. (color by Ben Stewart, Color Director / Cutler Salon) The layering and cutting technique allows the style to have flexibility and can be showcased in a series of ways – such as brushing it out for a messier, edgy feel or sleeking it back. For today’s red carpet, backcombing the crow added height to balance out and conform the elegance of the dress.

Step by Step beauty breakdown for Emma Watson’s Hairstyle seen on the Red Carpet at Harry Potter — The Deathly Hallows Part 2 International Premiere (London):

To achieve Emma’s look, I applied Redken Sheer Straight and Root Lifter and then wrap blow dried the hair so that strands would appear naturally straight.

I then gently flat ironed hair pieces from mid to the ends of the hair shaft, lightly flipping out the ends, and sprayed Redken Fashion Work 12 Hair Spray to ensure the style would hold up on the Red Carpet.

Finally, I wanted to make sure her hair balanced the beautiful dress, so I backcombed the crown to give it just a touch of height, and finished off with Cutler Shine Tattoo ($23 at CutlerSalon.com)

Thanks to Rodney Cutler for the beauty breakdown on how to get Emma’s look. It’s not hard, it’s minimalistic on the products and should be easy to achieve. (C’mon! Give it a try!!)
