AM is one of a new genre of indie singer/songwriter/musicians that have been born out of Hotel Cafe– a "musical incubator " if you will that has gotten numerous musicians down the right road to success…. and AM Is on his way! AM’s debut album Troubled Times has been named "Best Indie Album of the Year" by ITUNES. He seems to be in great company given the list and definitely get the download through ITunes or scroll on down for other sell through links! Not only has he made stellar company on ITunes, but BORDERS Bookstores has put AM on their "listening stations" nationwide for February, March, and April!!

AM is not the typical sort of name for a musician . It has nothing to do with AM or PM or AM/FM.. it’s just him…… being AM. Before I knew he was part of the Hotel Cafe crowd, I was talking to AM about music and his tunes…. where are really nice. Nice isn’t the right word– it doesn’t give you the depth of meaning or the life that he injects into his music– both lyrics and melody.

He’s articulate beyond just the music and the lyrics. His explanation of why he tours and how much he loves it and what drives the "nomadic life" of a musician is one of the most astute yet poetic I have ever heard. So not only is he nice eye candy, he’s an intelligent, interesting person with a sense of humor– with a Southern twang (N’awlins y’all).
