It’s interesting when people talk about skincare, they often don’t think about organic or more natural product lines. Usuallly their resources are 1) drugstores and 2) department stores and 3) MD offices for the *heavy duty* stuff. Wait– you missed a spot! How about the health food store or natural products stores like Wild Oats or Whole Foods or even your local privately owned store?
What do they have to offer? LOTS! There are tons of lines out there that deliver solid formulas with top notch ingredients – because if you want to be anything in the natural products world (as defined by the Natural Products Expo people– West and East both have trade shows) you have to be pretty much natural and/or organic in origin. What’s even better about these type of products is that 1) they have a lot more active ingredients that do something and 2) often they cost a lot less per oz and sometimes seriously less money than department store brands

I agree, it’s amazing how overlooked organic/all-natural skin care is in the US. It’s taken brands like Stella McCartney (and celebs) to lend their names to products that use naturally potent ingredients for many to recognize the benefits of minerals, floral extracts, and natural preservatives.
My fav organic/all natural products include: Stella McCartney’s Foaming Cleanser, Jo Wood Organics Usiku Bath Oil, Caudalie’s Energizing Serum, and Tammy Fender’s Epi-Peel.
Can’t wait to try your suggestions too, thanks!
