I am holding off on the women’s commentary because I can’t decide exactly what to say and how to say it and I have a number of contributors who will weigh in on this topic. So it’s best saved to another post. However that’s not to say there weren’t some really stellar and amazing red carpet moments and most of them happen to be worn by MEN! (We do love the men but often they just get forgotten)
One of our favorite menswear lines pulled out all the stops and got onto the red carpet in spades– and thank goodness because every gentleman walking the red carpet in Brooks Brothers looked amazing (and some overshadowed their partners and castmates)
Stephen Colbert was an Emmy presenter for Best Supporting Actress in a Comedy Series and he looked every inch a winner in a shawl tuxedo from the Black Fleece by Brooks Brothers collection.
Geoffrey Arend, star of upcoming M. Night Shyamalan movie, Devil and husband of Emmy nominated actress, Christina Hendricks, chose a Black Fleece by Brooks Brothers tuxedo. His tuxedo featured special detailng of a grosgrain lapel and a black grosgrain bow tie.
Tony Parker, San Antonio Spurs’ point guard sported a Brooks Brothers 1818 Fitzgerald tuxedo, slim fit bib-front spread collar tuxedo shirt and black butterfly bow tie while accompanying his wife Desperate Housewives star, Eva Longoria Parker down the red carpet. He looked every inch the star that Longoria did.
