Yes, it’s that time of week again. I know it’s Sunday but it’s a great Sunday to sit down, slow down, relax and have a cocktail. Skip eating the dessert and try sipping that dessert with these great cocktails from restaurants around the So. California area.
From the Market City Caffe , we have a great drink that’s a snap to make.
The Tiramisutini sounds and tastes amazing!! It’s a very simple drink (and a lot simpler to make than tiramisu the dessert — with a fraction of the calories too)
RECIPE:
1oz Frangelico,
1oz Kahlua,
1.5oz cream,
drizzle chocolate
Located at 164 E. Palm Ave. in Downtown Burbank, Market City Caffe has become an institution in the Los Angeles dining circuit. Known for its house-made ravioli, thin-crust pizzas and its immense antipasto bar, the Italian restaurant has attracted crowds for nearly 20 years. It serves its dishes with the idea that there are “no big plates and no small portions.” The menu is inspired by MCC Hospitality Group’s family ties to Italy (22 aunts and uncles) who provided their culinary secrets to guide the menu. The restaurant serves lunch and dinner weekdays, and a brunch, complete with a tableside Bloody Mary Cart, on weekends. For more information, please visit www.mcchgroup.com or call 818-840-7036.
Another drink that you could try is this tasty treat.
From Newport Beach’s Back Bay Bistro is this amazing– tasty, delish and sippable (and spoonable) cocktail.
Ice cream Oatmeal Cookie
Vanilla ice cream
Bailey’s Irish Cream
Butter Shots Schnapps
Goldschlager
I don’t have the detailed recipe but this would defnitely be a cool thing to play with and you can tweak it in many different ways. It’s a tasty way to end the weekend!!
