The Russians are coming!– ane the British, Greeks, French, and Australians! Over 100 Pilates devotees from around the world will converge to study Joseph Pilates’ system of mind/body fitness at Live Arts’ Pilates International Pilates Intensive, at the Culver City Events Center Aug. 26 – 28, 2011.
Featuring over 60 hours of training over 3 days with 31 classical equipment workshops, the presenters are “who’s who” of celebrity trainers!! The 13 presenters include:
Hollywood celebrity trainer Siri Dharma Galliano,
Pilates infomercial Queen Mari Winsor, and
Jay Grimes, who was personally trained by Pilates.
Former Cirque du Soleil members will execute their acrobatic moves, reminiscent of Pilates’ early career under the big top. Joining them will be renowned photojournalist Chuck Rapoport, to discuss the day he photographed Joseph Pilates for Sports Illustrated. His exclusive photographs– now famous in the fitness arena– will be available at the event. A vast array of specialized equipment used in the workshops will be available for purchase.
The public is invited to attend any lectures, classes, seminars, or demonstrations.
