While we are on the topic of Valentines’ Day– it’s not always about chocolate. I love to mix things up and come up with unique treats and sweets for you to check out.

Effie’s Homemade Baked Goods.
Effie has the most amazing “cakes” that are a cross between cookies, biscuits and cakes–and delightful.

Handmade mini chocolate wedding cakes
Each cake consists of 2 solid chocolate hearts. The lower tier is made from Belgian white chocolate and the top tier is made from Belgian milk chocolate. The cake is finished with mint chocolate curls made using organic peppermint oil.
The large heart is 4cm wide (at its widest point), 3.5 cm from top to bottom and the chocolate is 1 cm thick. The smaller heart is 3cm wide (at its widest point), 2.5 cm from top to bottom and the chocolate is 1 cm thick.
Using only the finest Belgian chocolate provides a smooth and creamy flavour to their chocolates. Each heart cake is individually packaged in a clear cube.
