This is the third of five posts about this cool indie movie where I was invited to interview the cast on location in North Hollywood.
Movie title: Edge of Salvation
The film takes a social-economic look at what our country is faced with today as seen through the eyes of a 14 year-old-boy and a family that loses everything due to a down economy, pride, greed and ultimately “man’s inhumanity to man.” It touches on abuse, hunger and poverty, but in the end there’s a glimmer of hope that is manifested through undying faith. The message of the film is never to give up no matter how difficult life may appear to be. Always adapt and overcome.
Cast: a slew of actors you know: Charlene Tilton, Jeremy London, Jonathan Lipnicki, Kelly Washington and a break-out for D. Michael Beldi in a key role.
Edge of Salvation was written and directed by Luciano Saber .
One of the actors, Kelly Washington talks about her role as the daughter of Charlene Tilton’s character. Kelly also talks about her career arc – check out the movies she has done!
Podcast of the interview.
Thank you to Kelly Washington for making time for this interview !
This is a movie you shouldn’t miss seeing!
