Hot Times at Doris Bergman’s Oscar Suites Give Guests a Peek at New Brand + Trends! part 1 of 2

When Oscar time rolls around, people start checking their email (and with their friends) about the various events going on in town. Sometimes it’s stuff in the evening but for those of us in the media, it’s often the daytime events especially the suites that are highly coveted. The suites are heavy on vendors and celebs are seen with personal assistant in tow along with a friend or partner. It’s time to see hot brands and emerging products coming to the forefront of the swag that celebrities are gifted. Why would media people attend? To find out what are still current favorite brands, new product launches and new brands emerging to feature their products at these suites to gain some traction from the celebrity crush and media blitz.
With great packaging and interesting bags for these great giftables, it’s possible to get the actual product bag/package seen by paparazzi and other photographers or if a brand is really lucky, the product is worn or consumed by said celebrity and caught on camera. Thus the proliferation of photographers at suites to get snaps of celebrities with their products because it’s good for the product branding and identity!

When Doris Bergman of Bergman Public Relations had her Oscar suite just before Valentine’s Day, people attended in huge numbers because Oscar events hadn’t really started and thus Bergman’s list of terrific celebrities:

In the spirit of giving back, guests donated new or slightly worn articles of clothing and accessories for young adults (ages 15-18) for a Valentine’s Day Gift Drive benefitting ‘Wednesday’s Child’ — a weekly segment airing on KTTV FOX 11 News, Los Angeles, with Anchor Christine Devine.

‘Wednesday’s Child’ highlights ‘harder to place’ children in the LA County foster care system who are in need of adoptive families. “In Los Angeles County, alone, there are over 30,000 children receiving child welfare services,” says social worker, William Wong. “This event reached far beyond the Hollywood ‘glitz’ and into the heart and soul. Gift donations to the ‘Wednesday’s Child’ Valentine’s Day Gift Drive from event Sponsors and guests, alike, has been overwhelming and, most importantly, we have formed new relationships that will extend outside of today! Additionally, Bergman invited two foster children to join in on the festivities and experience what it felt like to be treated as a VIP — the love from the sponsors was tremendous!” added Wong.
