Have you heard about Starz Outlander series? Have you read any of the Outlander books written by Diana Gabaldon? I had read 3.5 of 9 books. (Wow. I never knew she had so many installments in this series). When I heard about the STARZ series and how faithful they were being to the books, I had to watch it.
And I have seen every episode at least once since it started. Now that I know that the mid-season finale is coming up today, it’s one that I would highly recommend watching. There is a trailer for this episode down at the bottom of this post!
Also if you have not read any of her books, get at least the first 2 or 3 to fill in the blanks on where this series is going.

Shown on Saturdays at 9 PM ET/PT, this STARZ series that gets lots of additional exposure throughout the week. If you haven’t seen it any of it, or dropped it, after this episode you can *binge-watch* the series!
Do be forewarned that there is nudity and sexual content in this series. Not nearly as much as Spartacus, the episode about THE WEDDING made my husband crazy. He felt it was boring. Otherwise he liked the detail and correctness of the time period as well as the slower tempo of this series!
It’s a great series and the story arc is fabulous and very true to the book.

I have heard a lot about this show..it has many hard core fans. I need to try to see it sometime
I love the series. It’s a bit slow on the start because it’s following the book faithfully. The setting is extremely detailed and really interesting reading. I loved the books.. and I love the series!
