Getting the Glow On with William Squire, Founder/Creator of Billy’s Blues #Mascara + Billy’s Brillance #Contest. #Podcast
Maybe you know William Squire and his phenomenal cosmetic line, Billy’s Blues Cosmetics, maybe you don’t. You are about to learn a lot more about Squire as well as the journey he took to get the line going. His “journey” is a story filled with twists and turns. You will learn so much about him by listening to the podcast. At just a hair over 30 minutes, you hear what I too learned about William Squire. His life has as many twists and turns as Disneyland’s Star Tours ride!
In case you don’t have time right now to listen to this conversation with William Squire, here’s the fast “text” version below. Of course it doesn’t have any of the beauty tips or all the details about working with the various beauty lines and what/who he works with as a celebrity makeup artist!
William Squire is a world-renowned makeup artist, style consultant and beauty expert with over twenty years of experience in the fashion and entertainment business. He has been the premier make-up artist for Chanel, Yves Saint Laurent and Armani cosmetics, and he has a client list that includes celebrities and public figures such as Tipper Gore, Linda Evangelista, Susan Sarandon, Faye Dunaway, Raquel Welch and many others. William draws from his experience both in front of, and behind, the camera, having been a model, and an agency director, talent booker and fashion coordinator for four of the hottest talent and modeling agencies in Los Angeles, California.
A gifted dancer and actor, William began his stage career performing with professional dance companies, such as Ballet West, and theatrical productions. This quickly led to runway and print modeling and eventually to the runways of Yves Saint Laurent, Versace, Armani and Calvin Klein, and fashion spreads in Glamour, Gentleman’s Quarterly, Men’s Vogue and many other publications. William soon became interested in make-up artistry and, after extensive training, became a professional make-up artist for runway, print, stage and television.
After years of styling Academy Award winners, former First Ladies, supermodels, Broadway legends and CEOs worldwide, William took his styling and beauty expertise and produced his Billy’s Blues line of cosmetics. Because he had yet to come across a good navy blue mascara, William created Billy’s Blues, the perfect shade of navy for all eye colors, which lengthens and thickens eyelashes without damaging them. Complementing the mascara is William’s lip-gloss creation, Billy’s Brilliance. Adding the perfect amount of pink and peach, his lip-gloss adds fullness and warmth to the face, and looks stunning on all women. William’s fabulous navy mascara become the mascara of choice for many of Hollywood’s tops make-up artists and his cosmetics have been worn by world-class athletes, television personalities, supermodels and more.
Please note that this is running for 7 days and ends at midnight on day 7. Please note that if you stack up points by doing the items that aren’t mandatory but have higher values of points, the great the likelihood you will win.
There are 2 sets of mascara and gloss from Billy’s Blues to win.
