Master Celebrity Hairstylist Robert Vetica used Leonor Greyl and Olivia Garden products to coiff Debra Messing, who is nominated for Best Performance by an Actress in a Television Series/ Musical or Comedy at this evening’s 2019 Golden Globe Awards.
The Inspiration
“Glamour was our goal, so we added extensions for more volume, as well as about three inches of extra length. Then, because her Pamella Roland dress has so much movement, we left Debra’s hair down and loose—no tight updos—and really played up the shine and bounce,” explains Vetica.
The How To
“I appliedLeonor Greyl Condition Naturelle and Mousse au Lotus Volumatrice to Debra’s clean, damp hair, parted her hair in the middle and blew her hair straight with an Olivia Garden Ceramic Ion Dryer and Ecohair Combo Vent round brush. As I dried, I directed Debra’s hair back, away from her face.”
“Once Debra’s hair was dry, I added the extensions for length and volume.”
“I mixed a cocktail of Leonor Greyl Eclat Naturel and Gel a l’hibiscus through Debra’s hair for added shine and texture, and smoothed the top layer again with the blow-dryer.”
“Next, I sprayed her hair with the Leonor Greyl Laque Souple, took a curling iron and wrapped just the ends of Debra’s hair around the barrel for a polished look. The hairspray will help the waves endure and gave her hair tremendous shine.”
“I finished by tucking Debra’s hair behind her ears so that the look is tight in the front—and shiny, healthy—and loose—down her back.”
