Renowned Los Angeles singer, dancer, and producer Shyra Sanchez is pleased to premiere her new music video for “Universal Love”, the new Dance Music Single she co-wrote and recorded with TRAIG (Tim Snyder) as an anthem for WorldPride! The video shows Shyra and TRAIG performing the song between scenes of distraught youths struggling with self-identity and feeling accepted by family and others. On June 28th, Shyra and TRAIG released the video along with the remix album, Traig Feat. Shyra Sanchez, Universal Love, Volume One.
Shyra first wowed dance music fans with the hit single “DJ Love Song”, which peaked on Billboard’s Dance Chart at #28. The song caught the eye of award-winning film director John Singleton, and he placed the song in his action thriller film, Abduction. Shyra collaborated with emerging artist TRAIG to release the new single “Universal Love” during Pride Month as an anthem for global unity and acceptance.
Shyra and TRAIG co-wrote and recorded “Universal Love” in San Francisco with mega dance producer Leo Frappier (Mary J. Blige, Carly Rae Jepsen, Kym Sims). The song was later remixed by some of the top producers in the industry, including: Bimbo Jones, Klubjumpers, Edson Pride, GSP, James Anthony, Rob Moore & Mark Hagan, Dan DeLeon and Headrocka & Deluca.

Shyra has also collaborated with the likes of Grammy-winning songwriter and vocalist Makeba Riddick (Rihanna, Beyonce, Jennifer Lopez) on past projects and is currently working with Gary Luxx, (Janet Jackson, Usher, Brittany Spears, Maroon 5) on her upcoming album. Shyra also had a song, DJ Love Song Tsettos Mix in the action film, Skintrade, starring Dolph Lundgren and Ron Perlman.
In addition to working on her own career, Shyra loves to help others excel on the stage. In 2016, she started the STAR Academy as a way to give back to young artists and entertainment professionals to succeed in Fashion, Film, Television, Runway, Print, Theatrical, Pageantry, Cheer, Sports and other performance arts.
