Chef Tasha + Lynn Neuberg Food Seminar: Adding Sparkle, Shimmer + to Food & Drinks! 11/8!

On Sunday, Nov. 8, Lynn Neuberg will team up with Chef Tasha to give a demo of how to add sparkle to drinks and cocktails as well as Sweet and Savory dishes. Tasha will be preparing the food while consulting with Lynn on how to elevate the presentation of each dish. It’s a real honor to have Lynn Neuberg as part of the Pitcher & Powell Culinary Zoom Classes.

Here are some of the dishes and courses Lynn will be working with

Watermelon Vodka Cocktail garnished with orange slices, & gilded rim plus gilded champagne flute rim demo

Gilded Pomegranate demo and Gooseberry demo (cocktail garnish)

Carrot Velouté (thick, velvety smooth soup) with gold flakes

Gold and White Macarons gilded with gold and silver flakes

Chocolate Candies dusted with metallic gold and red shimmer powder

Mini Desserts featuring initialized chocolate seals with shimmer dust

Steak plated with vegetables and gilded with gold sheet

Holiday Sugar Cookies that will be gilded and then can be hung with ribbon

 

 

Here is a list of tools Lynn will be using:

• Brushes for the shimmers and lustre (make up brush size)

• Bamboo tweezers

• Pop up sponges

• Parchment paper or paper platesto sprinkle out the gold before rimming

• Evian small spray canister
