By analyzing social media, fan spend, Google search, and attendance data from the last five years, a new study by Betway reveals the most and least loyal NBA fanbases.
The NBA’s top 10 most loyal fanbases
–The Golden State Warriors have the most loyal NBA fans, with a total supporter score of 4.842 out of 5. The San Francisco franchise has more Instagram (28.2 million) and TikTok (5.1 million) followers than any other team, as well as recording the highest rate of yearly Google searches (45.2 million) and having the highest-spending fans ($109 per person per year).
The Utah Jazz, Los Angeles Lakers, Cleveland Cavaliers, and Boston Celtics round out the top five teams by fanbase loyalty.
