About  GABRIELLA RAELYN

Who is GABRIELLA RAELYN, formerly known as Gemyni, is a female singer-songwriter and producer born and raised in Denver, Colorado, and
currently based out of Los Angeles, California, picking up a wide range of musical influences such as The Cure, ABBA, Depeche Mode, Madonna, The Weeknd, Lana Del Rey, and MARINA. She describes her sound and artistry with the self-coined terms: ‘Neon Renaissance’ and ‘Ret-Romantic’, inspired by the aesthetics of royalty-core & the 80s vaporwave. GABRIELLA RAELYN effortlessly blends various genres such as Dream Pop, Synthwave, Darkwave, Alternative R&B, Baroque Pop, and Electro House through these inspirations. Predominantly, her songs have an overarching theme of romanticism and often feature storylines that explore the agony and passion of star-crossed lovers & forbidden love through

GABRIELLA RAELYN proudly announced the upcoming release of her new album, Nephele: Act I,  that launched on Friday, October 13, 2023. Raelyn has crafted this album as a mesmerizing odyssey of sound and emotion, drawing inspiration from a fictional character she named after Nephele, the Greek goddess of clouds. Zeus created Nephele from clouds as a replica of his wife, Hera, in a bid to test the integrity of another man who desired her.Through her music, Raelyn breathes life into the captivating narrative of Nephele, a 21-year-old enchantress from the vibrant 80s era. Engaged in a fierce internal struggle of displacement and melancholy, Nephele: Act I pulses with raw emotion, encapsulating the heartache and courage of a young woman’s journey to find her place in a world seemingly determined to cast her adrift.

Raelyn elaborates, “I crafted this album to depict the journey of a troubled young woman grappling with power dynamics between herself and the men surrounding her. She stands as a comforting presence and a voice for women who experience incompleteness, dissatisfaction with life, and dream of embracing their strength.”

With vocals hailed as “alluring” and “dripping with mysterious evocations” by Celebmix, Raelyn has unleashed her third single, “Dance of the Damned,” providing a tantalizing glimpse into her forthcoming masterpiece, Nephele: Act I, set to make its debut on October 13, 2023.

“The Music MAN” is the fourth and final single preceding Gabriella’s release of her ‘NEPHELE: ACT I’ album.
It explores the frustration Nephele, the project’s protagonist, a character symbolizing men in the music industry. This song reveals the challenges
Nephele faces due to her wariness of men in a male-dominated industry, where some exploit female artists for personal gain. “The MUSIC MAN”
portrays the story of these barriers and defenses that arise in a world where love and vulnerability collide.

“I AM BOTH WITHIN AND WITHOUT, DRIFTING THROUGH REALITY AND FANTASY LIKE A GHOST THROUGH WALLS. SEEING THINGS THAT AREN’T THERE HAS BECOME MY LIFELINE….I’M NOT COMPLETE HERE, IN THE REAL WORLD. I’M EMPTY HERE, SO SO ACHINGLY EMPTY. THERE’S NO LOVE FOR ME HERE. AND WITHOUT LOVE, I’M LOST.”

– GABRIELLA RAELYN, “NEPHELE…IS MY NAME…”

Other albums include:

Prelude: Lavender Daydreams

Gabriella’s songs are killer. I love how she frames things up in her writing the songs as well as how she sings the songs.
The feelings are rich and deep.  Follow her career and you will see that she will eventually be getting a Grammy at some time in the future!
