Will Dailey Suggests You ” Blame Me for the Holidays”! You Will Love It!

Will Dailey was (and still is) a great musician when I met early in his career. I was able to meet Will as well as interview him ( years ago) . His music is awesome, his lyrics are sharp!

It is a tricky time of year. Blissful and stressful. It digs up who we miss and what we maybe didn’t find in the year behind us. Expectations, hype, joy and darkness pulling us in every direction. You’ve heard my Holiday songs right? So you know!

Anyway, a lot going on. It’s a lot to ask of us. So I offer you the same deal as last year:

1. You roll into a party or some family event and someone unexpectedly hands you a gift. You did not get them anything! You immediately say, “Did you get the Will Dailey thing I sent you?” They say “No?!” – You then say, “Oh, typical artist. He is probably slow on getting it in the mail. It will arrive any day now.” Then you walk away. Log onto my store and order whatever you want for them. I will put a note inside saying that I am just a lazy artist who can’t get packages in the mail on time. You holiday problem is solved.

1)  You have the holiday blues at a gathering and someone asks you what is wrong.

2) You know in that moment that you can’t drag them down into the ills of the world that plague you and/or your own existential dread or tell them that the party is a drag.

3) So, you just tell that you’ve been listening to Will Dailey Holiday songs and share the
link with them to get out of the conversation.
