Skincare & Cosmetic Line Hakansson Debuts Gorgeous New EyeShadows at Miomia — in Brooklyn & Online!

Katie Chang was never one to shirk any challenge. I have known her for a L O N G time. She’s a smart woman who knows her beauty products and if I ever had questions about products or techniques for application, I could always turn to Katie for the answers.

It wasn’t a surprise to hear that she started her own business and that she’s gotten quite successful with Miomia and ShopMiomia.com, her Brooklyn-based shop for all things bath, body and cosmetic– for both sexes. Miomia is definitely guy-friendly . Men are comfortable shopping at Miomia for their personal grooming items and women love the store for its eclectic blend of brands that can’t be found locally. The store has grown precisely because it’s concise in it’s assortment of products and just like the online store that’s recently launched (shopmiomia.com ) and it has a friendly presentation that suits both men and women (meaning it’s not all girly).
What I love about Miomia and ShopMiomia.com is the serious thought that Chang put into this store. According to Katie:

When I got the email about the Hakannsson line launching eye-shadows, my jaw dropped, my eyes popped and I was typing 60 mph to get to the site to see photos.
Hakannsson is a great more organic, natural ingredient oriented line that really is so great. The skincare line is to die for and the cosmetics are something new and the shadows and smokin’ haute in terms of color and texture.
