Now this may seem superfluous but bear with me.. it’s not at all.
Given that Hanukkah starts tomorrow and tonight is Christmas Eve and all the other holidays surrounding this time of year like Kwanzaa, now is the time to get together with family–whether strictly those you are related to or the family you have created from friends and spend the time in good cheer.
To share time, stories, music, food and drink and celebrate the beauty of friendship and family. Beauty is more than just what’s painted on the face, done with the hair or what fragrance or scrub you used. It’s about what is in your heart and what you express from your heart. It’s about being generous with your time and feelings– while being sensitive of the feelings of others. The generousity of spirit is what makes the holidays special. It’s the giving to others without the concern of getting something in return. It’s enjoying and appreciating the understanding and rapport achieved with a new person in your life and certainly showing the love and appreciation of those already in your life
I wish you a home full of laughter, joy, giggles and fun. That you might receive everything that you need and that those around you get all that they need too. May the music, light, laughter and love of the season be bright in your home and heart ..
