Napoleon Perdis gives us a preview of his gorgeous collection for fall: China Doll and the new "face" of Napoleon Cosmetics, the winner of Australia’s Top Model!
Napoleon Perdis may not be a name all that familiar to you if you are here in the US, but it will be VERY soon. The rest of the globe is very much aware of Napoleon Cosmetics and it’s HUGE in the "lands down under", the UK, Europe and Canada. Napoleon’s "invaded" the US and has counters at Saks Fifth Avenue that are doing huge business. What makes this line so different from so many other lines? Napoleon believes that make-up should be fun and not to be afraid of color.
This is one creative guy who started out as an attorney and worked weekends learning how to be a make-up artist. (no lie!). His "larger than life" personality envelopes you and you suddenly see things quite differently: no more rose-colored glasses, it’s more like richly colored lips and fanciful shadows and liners that accentuate your beauty. This is a man on a mission to spread the love of beauty– cosmetically speaking — to the world and particularly here in the US. He has created a base of operations here in LA that will be home to a series of Napoleon Cosmetics stores across LA with one store opening in San Francisco by year’s end.
Perdis has grand plans for his growing empire and it includes a make-up academy in the heart of Hollywood that will be open day and night! This is all because he is now a transplanted Angeleno who has a home in the hills above Hollywood which I got to see when invited to lunch recently on a very hot and sunny day. (fab pool and waterfall.)
The lunch was to introduce Napoleon’s latest collection, China Doll. This gorgeous collection is elegant in its simplicity.
which includes China Doll Concealer to give you a flawless look,
China Doll Foundation to offer that silken complexion in a combination of long-wearing foundation and powder.
and for those who want a hint of color–with or without the other two products, the China Doll Color Veil is the perfect bloom on the rose.
Eyes are not forgotten but can be minmalistically emphasized OR made much more dramatic with the China Doll Eyeliner which are creme-gel liners that dry but are easily smudged into the lash line for a thick lash look or smudged up slightly for a smokey eye thanks to silicone in the formula that keeps it soft to apply but "sticks" once applied. The liner comes in three colors:
Earth (Brown)
Equinox (Black)
And finally Heaven (a gorgeous blue)
Mascaras are abundantly available already within the line including Long Black and the Peep Show Collection of various types of mascaras.
Lips can be lightly glossed or dramatically colored depending on the mood and tone and with the range of Napoleon Cosmetics there are a fabulous array of shades to choose from.

This collection is available in September but I wouldn’t wait chiquitas! I would hurry on down to your local counter and get on the list for the different products you want (I would buy the 3 face products and at least one liner and a new mascara!!) It’s a great collection that’s sure to sell out
