Who says that department stores and boutiques are the only place to shop? Not moi!
There is more to life than Ross, Marshalls, Nordstrom Rack, Off Fifth (Saks), TJ Maxx and outlet malls too — though I shop there too (occasionally only because I get seriously lost in shopping ).
Check out your local thrift stores and second hand stores. While I tend to hit the American Cancer Society because it is closest to me, the Salvation Army and Goodwill have amazing finds too. What’s really cool is that there is now a GOODWILL STORE blogonline, blog name DC Goodwill Fashionista written by Em Hall! This nifty blog and its’ writer will alert you to what’s hot (and haute) as well as what’s not (check out one of her most recent posts ).
She also picks out the newest merch to hit the Ebay DC Goodwill Store where you can bid on the latest finds that are hitting the DC Goodwill Auction page.
Don’t forget to check out the blog frequently because she does a fast Q&A with some of her favorite bloggers asking the same five questions every time and getting interesting answers.
