It’s now past the holidays– a time full of desserts, treats, sweets and junkfood. As a person who likes to eat healthfully, I have already dumped 90% of the junk I never usually have in the house and froze the rest that I would want to keep: truffles, homemade candies, fave cookies. I bury them in the outside freezer behind a couple of packages of hamburger patties. (sounds weird huh- but it does work.)
However Tami’s Feteafete.com’s blog had something that made me pause– seriously pause — and even make me ambivalent about my healthier diet. What was it? A cookbook. Yes.. a cookbook but of such epic, gorgeous photographs taken by Leigh Beisch and recipes created by baking/cooking wizard (the word is chosen quite carefully), Jill O’Connor. Sticky, Chewy, Messy, Gooey, .
Sinful desserts, treats and sweets according to whimsical categories and titles that make you salivate just looking at the photos.
