1. Don’t over-moisturize. I like to use oil free lotions and creams to prep skin before a big event. The oil free formulas won’t break down the make up and still give skin a lift of hydration.
2. Set make-up with a tinted powder…but touch up with a low pigmented version. This will help you zap shine but not load up your face with layers of tinted powders.

How to keep your make up looking great all night long:
3. Layer lip color. If using a sheer lipstick, apply a layer first, blot, powder lightly then reapply. This will ‘stain’ your lips a bit and add staying power.
4. Eyeshadow that stays put. I like to apply eyeshadow with a damp brush or sponge. Once dry the shadow won’t budge…perfect for a long night out.
5. Concealer. The one thing most women don’t touch up and should. Mid-way through the night I tell my gals to pop in the ladies room and ‘reinvigorate’ their under-eye area by applying a small amount of fresh concealer. Brightens under the eye and gives a crisper, fresher appearance.
