Brendan James is a name you might not know about– YET, but you will soon. His fan-base is growing exponentially and that’s without the mainstream, Top 40 sounds that it takes to capture the audience attention. Playing piano like it was a gift from the gods, James has an magical touch that makes every note, every pause, every turn of the music so gorgeous and makes you insanely hope for it to never end– though each song does. He is of a different generation of singer/songwriter/music and he brings back the sheer physicality of the way music can touch a person– outside, inside and down to the heart & soul.
His lyricism is emotionally touching and eloquent. James reaches down into his own dynamic and also personal perspectives and pulls out the heart of what he feels whether it’s personal experience or just feelings he has about topical issues.(Heroes).

Obviously the love lives on in the song and probably she is still in his heart even if he has moved on. The song takes you to that place in time where he felt that she was his “all”.
