Celebrities Featured: Blake Lively and Debra Messing
Blake Lively
Colour: Great , coordinated for her colouring and for the occasion. Keeps black away from her face, keeps it fresh with the shirt and necklace and at the same time keeps it soft by wearing muted colours.
Bodyshape: She knows how to dress her body- the necklace gives detail and volume to her chest, her handbag gives her proportion and shows off her waist, her long and well proportioned legs can cope with the multi layering on the lower part.
Style: The bohemian- just thrown on what came first to my hands look is very well put together. She looks groomed but not overly done up, so it would not compete with her outfit. Her ensemble is a class act of combining different colours, fabrics, material and styles together.
Overall rating: 6****** Six Stars
Debra Messing
Colour: The watermelon off the shoulder dress underlines beautiful her hair and skin colour and gives her a shine and presence, but at the same time it is tuned down and softened with the golden patch in her dress.
Bodyshape: The pattern in her décolleté line gives volume to her chest, the strong waist feature in fabrics and colours works on her bodyshape because she has a proportioned waist and smaller chest, her skirt line has volume enough to balance with her shoulder line but not too much to overpower her top half.
Style: Her hair and make up us is well matched with the dress, but the shoes don’t really work with this outfit and occasion. The shoes match in colour with her dress, but not in style.
It gives it more of a casual daytime feel to it, plus it is a bit too matchy. It would have been better to choose more formal elegant shoes or choose shoes from a different colour palette to give it a bit more of an edge and be in line with the current fashion trend.
Overall Rating: 5****** Five Stars
