Celebrities Featured: Georgina Chapman and Hayden Panettiere
Georgina Chapman
Colour: Wearing the colour contrast white, black and red away from her face softens the look and makes it work for her colouring.
Bodyshape: The body hugging mini fringe dress is a very in the moment dress and looks great on her . She wears it well for her shape. The top half shows off her curves , bust and waist and the fringes on the lower part create a nice detail, without adding bulk or volume on her lean legs. She balances the volume in form of the fringes by wearing a straight oversized striped jacket on top which create a perfect silhouette from her shoulder to the bottom of her dress.
Style: It is so British- dressing with edge! It looks fantastic and she incorporates so many trends in that look- mini- volume in the dress- fringes-nautical-oversized clothes without loosing herself. The only criticism I have is that it a too youthful look for her- though she looks great and has got the body- she is not in her twenties anymore.
Overall Rating: 5*****
Hayden Panettiere
Colour: Beautiful colour on her and great choice for the event she is attending.
Bodyshape: The dress is spot on for her petite shape and frame. It is following her body without being bodyhugging. It drapes around her hips to give her curves and has enough volume in the skirt so it balances with her shoulders withoug overpowering her silhouette or adding bulk. The waistline is perfectly set in place by going in, but not adding any details in fabric, accessoires or contasting colour and as a result her body and legs taller and longer.
Style: The bag and shoes are a size too big for her. The shoes give the image of a little girl trying on her mother’s shoes. The style and colour of bag and shoes are far too “oldish” for her. She is young and going to the kids choice awards, so she should wear accessories that are fun and funky with that dress, so it turns down the elegance and sophistication a notch.
Overall Rating: 4****
