What’s unique about Dolan is that the line takes trends that you spot (like the tiered or ruffled look) and gives them a healthy tweak to make them different, unique and a bit more body conscious. While the ruffles are hot, the biggest problem with ruffles that are horizontally straight is that they make you look wide– which isn’t flattering for most bodies.
What Jodie Dolan has done is take the ruffles and created a tiered top on an angle so that you have a more vertical line to offset the horizontal ruffles so that they lay closer to the body, are more flattering to your shape (*so that you actually have a body conscious silhouette), and also make you look longer and leaner– a look we all want!!
