If you have been following this blog for any period of time, the band THE KIN won’t be new to you. In case you haven’t seen anything about them, then you might want to go back and do a search for THE KIN (or email me for links) for the various posts because there are posts, podcasts, videos and lots more!
They are hitting into LA for a 4 week residency at the Hotel Cafe on Cahuenga, That’s right, you can get your weekly fix of the unique sounds of THE KIN’s Isaac and Thorry Koren at 11 (or 10 on 7/24) every night on July 10, 16, 24, and August 7that’s four weeks in a row. By the end of that month, if you were to be there every show, you would probably be pretty knowledgeable about their music. Check it out at the Hotelcafe.com or at TheKin.com
They have tons of new material beyond what’s on Rise and Fall. They have been featured on Lifetime’s Army Wives; done a stint on CBS Morning Show Second Cup of Coffee Hour and lots of other shows including touring with Pat McGee Band and Josh Kelley.
