When I want the latest 411 on great chocolate (or when I am having the chocolate craving), I hit Tami’s Feteafete.com blog because she always has the latest scoop and on this occasion– not one but THREE different brands . YUM!!
One of her most recent posts talks about a brand I have never seen: Bonnat Asfarth . This French chocolatier has an array of swoon-worthy chocolates.
Bonnat’s Asfarth milk chocolate is a strong, full-bodied bar. I like how it’s relatively lower in sugar compared to a lot of the milk bars. The high 65% cocoa content almost makes it a dark bar – almost. You can enjoy your milk choco fix and pretend it’s a healthy thing….sorta.

Coco-Luxe Chocolates have now opened a “chocolate bar and lounge” in San Francisco- another great reason (as if you really need one ) to visit San Francisco! This streamlined chocolate “studio” and lounge has the most amazing chocolates to eat and drink!!
Yummy things that I would just adore to test out (and maybe soon I will have that opportunity) HOT is the new sipping chocolate– sounds heavenly and there is one that’s even thicker and richer with a less sweet taste because of the richness. Heaven in one little store in the Haight.

Domori Latte Sal is the last — but certainly NOT the least chocolate presentation on feteafete.com. Domori has a milk chocolate bar with a salt addition that really changes up the flavor without it being salty.
Domori’s 44% milk chocolate with sea salt (Latte Sal) is quite beautiful. The rich, milky bar is gorgeously melded with tinges of fleur de sel from Guérande. I’m rather addicted to this- it’s the best of both sweet and savory worlds. Their minimal processing reinforces the unique flavor of the cocoa beans, producing a really fantastic flavor.
