While we are wrapping up the Spring 2009 NYFW coverage, don’t forget we are heading into Fall 2008 and it’s important to get the perfect look for the season! Bolder lip colors and eyes are soft and neutral to get you glowing and going for the season.
Here’s what NARS created for the Phillip Lim 3.0 Show for Fall 2008.
Face:
Basically no base or cheek color.
Apply NARS Concealer where needed to cover skin imperfections
Add NARS Powder Foundation if needed with NARS Botan Brush, for softer finish
Eyes:
Apply the Bali Eyeshadow (a neutral taupe)
Use NARS Eyebrow Pencil to draw brows for a strong look
Lips:
Apply NARS Semi Matte Lipstick in Fire Down Below to entire lip (a pure blood red).
Apply NARS Velvet Matte Lip Pencil in Dragon Girl ( a siren red) in center of lip to brighten and empower color

TIPS:
Begin with clean, moisturized skin.
Apply a pea-sized amount of Makeup Primer to the skin to extend foundation wear, ease redness, fight free radical damage, and improve skin’s clarity. NARS Makeup Primer with SPF prepares the skin for fresh-faced beauty while also providing protection from UVA and UVB rays.
Using the Concealer brush or finger, apply concealer for spot correcting or to conceal dark circles. NARS Concealer is enriched with Vitamin E to nourish the skin.
Apply foundation to the skin using fingers. Warming the product in your hands first and using your fingers to apply will allow for the most natural-looking finish.
Use Balanced Foundation for a dewy finish, or Oil Free Foundation for a soft matte finish.
For foundation coverage in a powder texture, apply Powder Foundation over the skin with a sponge or the Botan Brush to achieve a soft, natural balance of color.
If desired, apply Powder Foundation with a sponge or the Botan Brush over a Liquid Foundation for a velvety, extra-longwearing finish to the skin

Press Loose Powder or Pressed Powder into the skin with the puff and buff away excess powder with the Loose Powder Brush to bring natural luster to the skin.
Use Pressed Powder throughout the day to refresh makeup. The Triple-Milled formula uses talc, silica, and corn starch to absorb excess oils and create a silky-smooth texture to maintain fresh-looking skin.
Warm the complexion for a healthy glow with NARS bronzer. Apply bronzer along the forehead, cheek, and jaw line using a “3” shaped movement for natural-looking application.
