There are three hot new beauty lines to add to the array of beauty products at Target and Target.com. The collections include tools, accessories, lip coiors, glosses, foundations, powders, shadows, mascara, liners for lips and eyes, palettes and lots more!
What’s in store?
JK Jemma Kidd has taken her high end line and created something a bit more affordable and one of the things I love most is the JK Jemma Kidd Fashion Palette that makes beauty on the fly so darn easy– from day to night, you can be neutral and go smoky in nothing flat.
JK Jemma Kidd Fashion Palette $36.00
Another cool product you might miss in the array of lip and eye colors (LOVE her duos– those are phenomenal) is her set of JK Jemma Kidd Makeup Tools which make it so easy and affordable to build a set of essential brushes
JK Jemma KIdd Makeup Tools — $35.00
One of my favorite lines has joined Target as well — and if you know my beauty coverage, you will know about Napoleon Perdis ! His makeup is phenomenal and he’s created a smaller collection for Target called NP Set to reach more people.
Products that I particularly liked with the NP Set collection where the shadow duos– because I know the quality that Perdis puts into his product lines and his colors have a lot of pop. The shadow duo, NP Set Show Loose Dust Eye Shadow Duo – Japan Sparkling Cranberry/ Mocha is a double ended wand with loose pigment dust to make beauty easy on the fly and this color combination will be perfect for fall and really last all day– particularly if you want to use it a bit wet to create a longer lasting finish.
NP Set Show Loose Dust Eye Shadow Duo – Japan Sparkling Cranberry/ Mocha $26.00
Blush duos are a favorite because you can create 3 looks out of them by using them solo or in combination. The NP Set Blush duo is perfect for almost any skintone and it has a nice matte finish.
NP Set Baked Powder – Blush $20.00
I have been a long-time fan of PIXI which was a line competitive to POP Beauty and thus got lost in the shuffle. I personally loved the fun, flirty colors and textures of this line and I bet you will too.
Digging into single products because of all the collections already mentioned, Pixi has no shortage of collections and palettes– far more than either of the other two lines– so make sure you check those out.
However one of the basic things one needs, is a fast, clean up, gleam up your eyes product that makes you look awake and a bit aglow– which is what the Eye Primer does beautifully. A slim pen that can also be used as a highligher for cheekbones, brow bones or to slim a nose, this pen does double and triple dute.
Pixi Lustrous Eye Primer strong>- Gold Lustre $22.00
Looking for that single lip color that you can leave in the car, in the purse, in the desk and also one for your kit? Pixi has a number of great lip products, here’s one that I think will suit just about everyone. The Rose Lip Treats are sheer to translucent and gives hyrdation and softens lips.
Pixi Rose Lip Treat Collection –$12
The Los Angeles Times Image section ran a review in print and is online for your reference. I didn’t get to try the same products that the writer did but I found the product that I got to try were really interesting and fun. However given some of the price points, there are higher than most of the brands carried by Target– so it’s not drugstore level products. It’s lower than these high end brands usually retail for and the packaging is less than what you would expect from the brand, but it’s still pretty cute!
