When I was asked to attend the Governor’s Conference for Women for Glam.com, I did not have to be asked twice! I definitely was hot for this event! What was news to me was the Night at the Village that is held the night before the conference to allow all the vendors time to interact with as many participants as possible. While it wasn’t the complete complement of 14 thousand women who attended on Wednesday, it was a busy convention center full of great vendors, companies who had fashion, beauty or self-help items as well as large companies (financials, health care companies, mass retail, and food/beverage ) wishing to make their presence known as well as providing support to the conference.
Glam Media had a booth, though it was very lightly staffed as we were more about what was going on– here’s a photo of the booth.
While Jenny (a press and marketing person from Glam Media) and I walked the floor on Tuesday night, it was fun to see all the cool stuff going on.
Here’s a few of the brands that we saw (the book of the vendors was like 20 pages!)
Alicia Klein leather goods
Alicia Klein extremely colorful “taxi wallets”– there were more with prints and colors available.
Health destination booth for bone scans and more. (Even flu shots were available)
Barbie Rocks Jewelry– Barbie inspired jewelry
Spare Soles– fold-up shoes for flats on the run.
Here’s what Spare Soles really look like! They have rubber soles so you can have an extra pair of flats in your desk drawer, in your car or even carry them onto a plane!
RED–the brand that collaborates with many brands to bring help to Africa.
Fashionphiles.com– luxury, gently used bags for less–online and in a Beverly Hills store.
The bags at Fashionphile.com –drool-worthy bags!
A great collection of gorgeous jewelry all done with CZ’s so they are extremely affordable. They really looked like the real thing!
