Today I hit the Junior Drake Sample Sale– jaw-droppingly great prices.
I thought I would buy about a couple bags and be out in about 45 minutes. However the tons of bags in a myriad of colors, shapes, styles of wallets, bags, totes, and more kept me hypnotized for over an hour.
Here’s what I walked out with– and it’s a lot, so bear with me. While the dent in my credit card was a bit more (okay a lot more) than I planned on spending, I now have a stockpile of gifts for family members for 2009!

Supposedly this is the Meghan bag retailing at over $450.00. This is a deep blue violet color that you can’t see in the photo. Super soft and only $90.00 at the sale
This wallet was one of the few left after 3 boxes of these partitioned wallets were put out in a variety of hues. 15 minutes later, there was almost nothing left. Lucky for me I scored this beautiful plum/burgundy super soft leather wallet that retails for $148 at Nordstroms (right now!) for $20.00. This was the big steal along with the bag above.

I spent about $300.00 and walked away with 9 or 10 items. (I have to count again. I didn’t show you every photo. I also have photos of the wallet interior.)
I have already switched to the indigo bag and the new wallet. Sleek, sexy and fast!

Buy some to give and pick out something for yourself. The Junior Drake people are awesome!! Lots of colors, lots of styles. MOVE fast and take whatever you want with you and then decide later if you want it.

Oh, what bargains you received. I am so jealous especially getting the “megan” for only $90. I spent the $348 at Nordstrom for the Megan (my Christmas present to myself). It’s too bad that JD did not have a sample sale on the east coast! You got some awesome JD bags and wallet! 9 things for $300….it’s just unbelievable! Great post!
