I happened to be in Barneys on Saturday last for a nice interview with a fragrance creator. However I was checking out the lines in the beauty section and saw a ton of new things and one of the things that caught my eye was Vincent Longo’s new line additions.
Not only did I see the latest holiday collection which is really pretty:
Holiday Jewels available in Glow, Twilight and Sparkle , but I also got a quick touch-up by the make-up artist at the counter and it just blew me away– because it was so pretty, natural and long-lasting!!
What was used:
Water Canvas Base is a non-greasy, transparent gel made with 81% MicrowaterTM, seaweed extracts and silica gel.
Maintains skin’s moisture balance to impart a hydrated, brightened, more youthful appearance.
Forms a flexible, cushiony barrier that won’t crease or flake with facial movement.
Allows skin to breathe and buffers it from pollution and climate.
Fills-in enlarged pores, fine lines and creases.
Smoothes over inflammations such as acne spots or rosacea.
Extends the wear of all makeup products that follow for a flawless, morning-to-evening finish.
Suitable for men and women of any age and all skin types

** This was the most amazing foundation! it went on smoothly and became “one” with my skin. It lasted from 2:30 till about 10 PM that night because I had a holiday party to attend with friends. It felt silky and really was nice on the skin. Great color match too.
This is one to definitely test drive.Apply with brush or sponge.

** The artist used a great color on me, I think it was Aqua Crimson but it could have been something else. I have to check the card she gave me. It was soft and subtle but looked great and I didn’t lose the color all night. Again a winner in my book and worth every penny.
PS. The Vincent Longo Mascara– The Curl was a nice touch too. I would use about 3 coats or add in one of Volume Riche as well.
