Courtesy of the DC Ladies blog is this post on the new fairy tale bridal gowns inspired by Disney characters. The only question I would ask is what took them so long to create this licensing? Disneyland and Disney World are destinations for weddings.

Whether a bride is most inspired by Snow White’s delicate beauty, Jasmine’s sleek elegance, Ariel’s sassy flair, or by another princess’ style, this new line of gowns is set to go on sale in early 2011, complete with a wide range of affordable prices that start at $599 and top out at $1199.
As much as I adored my own Alfred Angelo gown, if my day was still coming up, you’d better believe I’d be doing plenty of daydreaming about the new Ariel style right now! But let’s stop talking about the gowns and get on with looking at them, shall we?

I am a huge fan of the “less is more” concept of bridal gowns. I am not a big fan of embellishment– probably because I am a bit on the petite side and I wind up looking like a birthday cake.
