Inspired by East Coast surf culture, and easy breezy summer days, the Kangol Spring 2011 collection lures us to take cover with effortless sophistication. The colorful campaign imagery is borrowed from vintage movie posters from the 60’s. No longer just a So. California trend, surfing, surf culture and style have gone in the opposite direction.

The Kangol Spring 2011 campaign was shot on location in Montauk at the Montauk Yacht Club. Fitting, since it is one of the most sought after surfing destinations on the East Coast, where the casual beach lifestyle is alive and thriving. Tradition melds with new construction, materials, and technique from all over the globe to result in new styles and patterns for all to enjoy. Men’s, women’s, and children’s styles available, as well as eco-friendly bamboo and natural dyed hats.
