LIfestyle & Beauty Expert Rebekah George Says Mom’s Tips Were Right On!

We all remember that Mom used to give us advice about all kinds of things. My mom did– and I am sure yours did too. Don’t go out without a coat; remember that you need an umbrella; check the expiration date on ______(fill in the blank). There were always the beauty tips: too much lipstick; you need a haircut; your skirt’s too short; and my personal favorite “your hair is purple, change it back”.
While I complied with most of it– and held off as long as I could from changing my “wine colored” hair as possible, eventually I did what my mom told me. (Ok.. maybe not everything. The skirts were still short and I pushed the hair color as far as I could. Call me a rebel or an ahead of the curve trend-setter, I had a different drummer thing going on.)

However as time went on, I discovered Mom wasn’t always wrong — but actually had some smart ideas. With that in mind– and forgive me that this took forever to get up — since it was recorded just before Mother’s Day. Technical issues come in “3’s” for me and this video was just plain tempermental.

Lifestyle, beauty & fashion expert Rebekah George chats about all the great products and beauty tips that Mom has given us over the years and which ones really do work. Most do — in fact — and are you surprised by that?
