This ain’t your mom’s Ann Taylor store. Forget the stuffy feel of the store. With a new executive leadership and a new head designer– Lisa Axelson, a newly minted member of CFDA, you will see a real evolution in the stores and the merchandise in Ann Taylor stores. In a word: WOW!!
I was invited to the South Coast Plaza Ann Taylor concept store to meet with Public Relations Director, Andrew Taylor (no relation to the company by the way) and tour the store. This is quite a change in the store look, feel and how it works.
This is Ann Taylor stepping way into the 21st century and few stores do what Ann Taylor has done in terms of making it possible for you to search all stores and online for the garment in the size and color you want. This computer is genius and it can make finding the item you want to by a snap!
Add into that entirely redone stores with amazing lighting, easier boutiques within a boutique type store presentation, stylist/sales associates and LIGHTING in the dressing room that makes you look alive and vibrant (and not death warmed over). Got to love that!!

Looking for a store that has a wide variety of styles — from conservative to trend-sensitive? You need to check out the Ann Taylor store near you. Most stores are not concept stores (yet). However they do have all these new styles in brights and neutrals along with an amazing array of accessories. You can also find them online as well.
I found the selection really intoxicating– and I was lucky (or maybe extremely restrained) in not walking out of the store with a suit, a skirt, citrine shoes and a couple tops. Yes– it was that good.
