Here’s what Libby Patterson has to say about what she does in Map Sessions:
There are 8 seasons, of 6 weeks duration. Much has already been written about how long it takes to set an intention, to make or break a habit; 40 days, it’s even in the bible. So, that breaks down to 8 six week seasons in the year, I like to work with clients, once every six weeks. Preferrably at the beginning of a cycle, but it can literally fall anywhere in the season, whenever the client is feeling the calling to schedule. When we get going, together, I like to schedule dissolving, arising and abiding sessions, for the important, dynamic, returning to source, during the waning moon, and then the new moon itself, which is the clean slate moment…..when we do ablutions of gratitude, and expectation releasing, and cleaning, on every level. There are many exercises.
On an arising paradigm, we begin to see the moon climb up out of her dark deep feminine, and new projects, arise. Intention is everything at every step of the way. Scent that is raw, wild, and luxe, is applied, as a tool for meditation, along the way, in the metronome of time, which consistency is good here….meditate the same time daily for the best results, same with the scents.
An abiding paradigm is one that is in maintenance. Once a project is at this phase, the scent remains as an amplification of your mind, thoughts, and as an anchor for you so that you will have the brain cellular etheric body connection. (mind body spirit.) These are the three delivery systems, of parfums.
I know some of my clients love the spray purse size delivery system, and this is awesome to create a bubble of scent mist surrounding you and enveloping your aura, your etheric body. The vials (minis) and parfums without a spray top get applied directly onto pulse points (places where the blood is closest to the surface, and the lymph points….easy carry points of the scent into the dermis and on into the blood, and along the lymph passages). Both are essential.
Inhalation occurs with both, and delivers the scent to the hard wired brain where it can help to reprogram bypassing the obstacles and trips set up by the subterranean territory of the brain and subsequently the soul. As you lift off the warped energies, created from past traumas, when the soul flinches and fractal parts of the self come up to protect the soul, your compass points re-align back to your virginal perspective and all decisions are much better for you, from this alignment, of pure intent. It may be hard work, working in the shadow, but the rewards are great. So a part of the map session usually involves some setting up of a core of whitelight/unconditional love, and choosing, selecting the correct scents, that have the resonant frequency to manifest the intention.
So, Map Sessions are much more than tarot and astrology. While those aspects are interesting, mostly we’re looking at alignment, opprtunities for you, to launch your best times, and love and money are frequent topics, to address. The tree roots of your soul, the trunk of the tree, and the upper branches. There are times of the year, within the seasonal structure that are better to work with the seeds of ideas, then planting them, and onward to manifesting.
The scents that are prescribed, suggested, can help as i said earlier, to amplify your ideas, of what it is you are creating. Some other ways of working in a map session often involve a meditation time travel, where the client is taken back into a dream or a time when a trauma was created, so we can work through tools including scent and emotional releases to lift the fractal parts of self off, and return you to source. Pure Intent.
The scents are classified as being dissolving, arising or abiding.
When creating a signature scent , all of these are abiding and bring out your best attributes emotionally which is why they carry you through many years, of your personality expression.On a deeper level, the quicker prescriptions of scent for the six week alignments of the short seasons…are created to help build cognitrons, into the neural pathways, deepening the groove and the pavlov’s dog response of the sympathetic nervous system with each application of the parfum….over and over again, it just gets deeper, like the same as when using language in sex, the commands become more effective with each successive sexual encounter. The same is true with the scents.
In the aphrodisiac collections, there are at least seven archetypes, which in and of themselves can trigger moods which help to keep the confluence between lovers active, new, and refreshing.
